After studying to become an auctioneer (Bachelor's degree in art dealing at the Centre d'Etudes Supérieures en Economie, Art et Communication, Paris) and following various professional experiences in the narrow world of the art market (experts, antique dealers, gallery owners, auctions), I finally chose to become an art broker and dealer. This profession is distinguished above all by the ability to select the works on which one works. For more than fifteen years, I have been passionate about this wonderful profession, rich in surprises and discoveries, in which one's eye and knowledge are constantly refined.
It is in painting and drawing, particularly 18th-century French portraiture, that I have made my most beautiful discoveries: portraits by François Boucher, Jean-Baptiste Greuze, Hyacinthe Rigaud, Nicolas de Largillière, Jean Valade, and others.
I have thus had the honour of contributing to the enrichment of the collections of institutions such as the Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris, the Musée du Château de Versailles, the Musée National de la Marine, the Château de Chenonceau, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF), and several provincial museums in Rouen, Grenoble, Mâcon, Cholet, Saint-Malo, and elsewhere.
I would be delighted to welcome you, by appointment, at:
au 5 rue Auber 75 009 Paris
ou
au 26 rue du Palais de Justice 10 000 Troyes.
